a 1960 plymouth fury rolled up off the street to inquire about scuffing and clearing the car as is. 19 feet long, unibody, 313 poly head v8, push button auto, square see through steering wheel, aftermarket air. and dual chrome everything.

I couldn’t get far enough away inside the fence to get a picture of the whole side of the car.

The first car I ever actually drove was a ‘63 Fury with push-button. Some way short of the panache of this one, of course. Midsize instead of fullsize, and no fins. I didn’t realize the ‘60 was a unibody.

Ugh clear over ugly paint/rust is so dumb. You’re willing to put money towards keeping the car ugly but not towards making it nice??? C’mon people.

budget is a concern, metalwork alone would run into 5 figures, and he wouldn’t get the car back for years. In the real world, you’d just tape and paint for a driver quality ride. Too much car to get real serious about, this way he can drive it while he tinkers on it. I’ve already got a big-ass plymouth coming to my place for metalwork this summer, and I don’t know anybody who’d want to take on a serious resto of that much car.
